After eating the free breakfast of doughnuts and muffins at the motel we set out for Elko. As always we pedelled through the hot sun for most of the day but after a few hours there was a heavy shower of rain. We were lucky enough to be near a bridge at the time near a petrol station/casino and managed to avoid most of it. We couchsurfed with David tonight who had spaghetti waiting for us when we arrived. He had a great collection of bikes and bike parts and had hosted a british cyclist a few weeks ago who was cycling west coast to east coast. The easy way.
