Day 31: York, NE - Kearney, NE

Time: 7:03:58
Distance: 142.54km
Average Speed: 20.1km/h

We took advantage of the flat roads and made today the longest of the trip so far. We cycled alongside crop dusting planes for about an hour. Sometime in the middle of the day we caught up with another cyclist, Denis Boutin from Quebec. He told us he sold his house, car and all other possessions to cycle around the world for the next 5 years. He's bringing along his dog, Saxo in a trailer. We arrived at our couchsurfing host Katie's house at around 8. She made us coffee and then took us to Thunderheads, a bar that brewed their own beer. Katie had to leave early as she was working the next day so her brother and his wife brought us to another bar and a house party.
