Day 36: Potter, NE - Cheyenne, WY

Time: 7:13:11
Distance: 137.15km
Average Speed: 18.9km/h

We cycled on a bad road surface most of the day which ran parallel to the interstate. It ended up being one of the tougher days but we managed to make it to Cheyenne before dark. Along the way we met a couple cycling across country in the other direction on a tandem. We're now in the state of Wyoming. The least densely populated state in the USA with half a million people. The distances between towns now seems to be a lot greater so I'm carrying 3 litres of water all the time and a bag of nuts, raisins and smarties. Tonight we are couchsurfing with Titus and his family.
