Day 43: Craig, CO - Masadona, CO

Time: 6:32.39
Distance: 109.73km
Average Speed: 16.7km/h

I have never cycled into the wind for so many hours. Most of the day was through barren desert land up and down hill. At times today I questioned why I was doing this cycle. It was probably the toughest day as the distances between towns was so great, the wind never stopped and the climbs kept throwing themselves at us. A big piece of glass managed to slash my front tire also. Luckily, I now carry a spare as well as a few tubes. We stayed in a trailer park miles away from anywhere. I got talking to some of the people who lived there and they invited us to beers at their bonfire. It was a long night but good fun.
